Directions

  1. 1Take double toned milk, add saffron, cardamom powder, chopped almonds, and Tru Native's everyday sweet.
  2. 2Mix occasionally and let the milk reduce by half in quantity.
  3. 3Meanwhile, take low fat paneer and knead it with your palms for around 5 minutes until it forms a dough.
  4. 4Add a teaspoon of maida to the paneer dough and mix.
  5. 5Take out a small ball of dough, roll it gently, and cup it between your palms to form the rasmalai shape.
  6. 6Repeat this step for the rest of the dough.
  7. 7Gently drop the rasmalai into boiling water.
  8. 8Let them cook for 12 minutes.
  9. 9Flip them, cover the lid halfway, and cook for another 12 minutes until they have doubled in size.
  10. 10Immediately give the rasmalai an ice bath for 5 minutes.
  11. 11Squeeze the excess water from the rasmalai.
  12. 12Pour over the reduced milk and let it chill in the fridge until ready to eat.

  • 10 chopped almonds
  • TruNativ's Everyday Sweet (monk fruit based sweetener)
