Brown your ground beef.

Sweat your diced onions and carrots until softened.

Make a lake of oil in the pan and fry your curry powder and turmeric to bloom the aromatics.

Add the ground beef back into the pan along with crushed tomatoes, water, red lentils, and coconut milk.

Give everything a good mix.

Let it simmer on medium low heat with the lid on for about 30 minutes.

Taste and adjust your seasoning.

Add a splash of water if you want it a little looser.

Portion it out with rice into individual containers.

Let it cool completely.
