In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and dry yeast. Mix well and let it rest for 5 minutes until the yeast activates.

Sift together maida and salt.

Combine the yeast mixture with the sifted flour mixture.

Form a dough and add warm milk. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until it becomes soft and slightly sticky.

Add butter and knead again for 5 minutes until the dough turns smooth and soft.

Tuck and shape the dough into a smooth ball and let it rest for one hour until it doubles in size.

Punch the dough slightly, knead it again, and form it into a smooth ball.

Cut the dough into 12 equal pieces.

Grease a baking tray and place the dough balls on it. Brush with milk and let them rest for 20 minutes until they raise again.

Preheat your oven and bake the pav at 180°C for 20 minutes until golden brown.

Once baked, remove from oven, separate the sides using a knife, and flip over.

Rub with butter to make it shiny and let it rest for 20 minutes with a wet cloth over it.
