In a bowl, combine half a cup of softened butter and one cup of sugar.
Cream the butter and sugar together until well combined.
Add two full eggs and one egg yolk to the creamed mixture.
Beat the eggs into the mixture.
Add half a cup of 2% milk, one and a half tablespoons of oil (olive oil was used), and half a tablespoon of vanilla to the mixture.
Mix everything again.
Optionally, add a small drop of yellow food gel.
In a separate bowl, combine one cup and two-thirds of a cup of all-purpose flour, one and a half teaspoons of baking powder, a quarter teaspoon of baking soda, a quarter teaspoon of cream of tartar, and a quarter teaspoon of salt.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Transfer the batter into a piping bag or a Ziploc bag.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Lightly grease the back of a measuring spoon and gently push it into the center of the batter in the Twinkie molds to create a slight indentation.
Bake the Twinkies in the preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
For the filling, add about two-thirds of a cup of powdered sugar to a bowl.
Add about a quarter cup of softened butter (melted slightly is okay) to the powdered sugar.
Add about a cup of marshmallow fluff and a dash of vanilla to the bowl.
Mix the filling ingredients together until smooth.
Transfer the filling to a piping bag.
Poke a hole in the bottom of each baked Twinkie.
Pipe the filling into each Twinkie through the hole until it is filled.
