5Place 4 cloves of garlic in a blender.
6Add 4 seeded Thai chilies to the blender.
7Pour 1/3 cup of fish sauce into the blender.
8Add a handful of cilantro to the blender.
9Add 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar to the blender.
10Squeeze the juice from one lime into the blender.
11Blend all ingredients until smooth.
12Pour the blended mixture into a measuring cup.
13Add 2/3 cup of boiling hot water to the measuring cup with the blended mixture.
14Sear the tofu in a hot skillet for 3 minutes on each side until crispy.
15Transfer the crispy tofu to a bowl.
16Pour the broth mixture over the crispy tofu.
17Garnish with black sesame seeds.
18Garnish with fresh cilantro.
