Directions
- 1Crush the golden Oreos in a food processor to use as both the crust and crumble.
- 2Use half of the crushed Oreos for the crust and reserve the other half for the crumble later.
- 3Add a quarter cup of melted butter to the crust crumbs and work it in.
- 4Press the buttered crumbs firmly into the bottom of a pie dish.
- 5Set the pie crust aside and get another bowl.
- 6In the new bowl, combine one block of cream cheese and a quarter cup of granulated sugar.
- 7Mix the cream cheese and sugar until nice and creamy with a mixer, then set aside.
- 8Blend three cups of frozen strawberries in a blender.
- 9Add the blended frozen strawberries to the cream cheese mixture and mix until combined.
- 10Set the strawberry cream cheese mixture aside.
- 11In a separate bowl, whip 1.5 cups of whipping cream and a teaspoon of vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- 12Gently fold the fresh whipping cream into the strawberry cream cheese mixture.
- 13Pour the filling into the prepared pie shell.
- 14For the shortcake crumble topping, take the reserved golden Oreo crumbs.
- 15Add a pack of strawberry Jell-O to the Oreo crumbs for color and mix it through.
- 16Add a quarter cup of melted butter to the Jell-O and Oreo crumb mixture and work it in to get a crumble consistency.
- 17Sprinkle the crumble on top of the pie.
- 18Freeze the pie overnight, for at least 8 hours.
- 19Take the pie out of the freezer about 20 minutes before serving.
