Brown butter banana oat chocolate chip cookies

Directions
- 1Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden and nutty (5–8 minutes).
- 2Let the brown butter cool slightly.
- 3Mix dry ingredients: flour, oats, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- 4Mix wet ingredients: browned butter, both sugars, mashed banana, yogurt, and vanilla.
- 5Stir dry ingredients into wet until just combined, before the flour is fully incorporated.
- 6Fold in chocolate chips, making sure not to overmix.
- 7Cover and chill the dough for 30 minutes and up to 12 hours.
- 8Preheat oven to 375°F and line baking sheets.
- 9Scoop large cookie dough balls (about 3 tbsp each).
- 10Bake 12–14 minutes until edges are golden and centers look soft.
- 11Tap the pan to let any air out.
- 12Cool on the sheet for a few minutes then transfer to a baking rack.
- 13Sprinkle with flaky salt!
