Directions

  1. 1Cut bacon into small pieces and cook in a green pot.
  2. 2Finely chop onion and celery.
  3. 3Melt butter in a pot and add flour, stirring constantly.
  4. 4Gradually whisk in heavy cream and chicken broth.
  5. 5Add garlic powder to the mix.
  6. 6Dice potatoes and add them to the pot, cover and cook until tender.
  7. 7Grate cheddar cheese.
  8. 8Add cooked bacon, cheese, and stir.
  9. 9Serve soup in a bowl. Add sour cream, bacon bits, cheddar cheese and green onions.

  • 1 onion
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 2 tablespoons Tillamook Extra Creamy Unsalted Butter
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 cup Tillamook Medium Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon green onions
