Grate the onion.

Squeeze out the liquid from the grated onion.

Add the drained onions to a bowl.

Add a mixture of ground beef and lamb to the bowl with the onions.

Add a spoon of Greek yogurt to the meat mixture.

Add garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and black pepper to the mixture.

Drizzle a little olive oil over the ingredients.

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.

Place the meat mixture between two pieces of parchment paper.

Flatten the meat as much as possible using a rolling pin.

Roll up the flattened meat within the parchment paper.

Place the rolled meat onto a baking tray.

Bake the meat at 450°F for 10 minutes.

Remove the cooked meat from the parchment paper.

Rip the meat into smaller pieces.

Use a kitchen torch to add extra flavor to the meat (optional).

Place a soft pita on a cutting board.

Spread yogurt sauce on the pita.

Add onions and sliced tomatoes to the pita.

Finish by adding the cooked meat to the pita.

Tips
The thinner you roll the meat, the better it will be.
Using a kitchen torch is optional but adds extra flavor.
