Dudhiche Cutlet

Directions

  1. 1Grate the dudhi.
  2. 2Squeeze out all the water from the grated dudhi.
  3. 3Add finely chopped onion to the dudhi.
  4. 4Add green chillies to the mixture.
  5. 5Mix the ingredients together.
  6. 6Add jeera to the mixture.
  7. 7Add turmeric powder.
  8. 8Add chilli powder.
  9. 9Add ginger-garlic paste.
  10. 10Add pepper powder.
  11. 11Add maida (or breadcrumbs).
  12. 12Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon.
  13. 13Add a handful of fresh coriander.
  14. 14Mix all ingredients thoroughly to form a dough.
  15. 15Shape the mixture into small cutlets.
  16. 16Coat each cutlet with rawa mixed with a pinch of salt.
  17. 17Fry the cutlets in oil until golden brown.

  • 0.5 tbsp jeera
  • 0.5 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 0.5 tbsp chilli powder
  • 0.5 tbsp pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp maida
  • 0.5 lemon
  • 1 handful fresh coriander
  • 1 pinch rawa
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 Oil

Tips

  • Squeeze out all the water from the grated dudhi.
  • The grated dudhi gives a texture similar to shredded chicken.
