Directions

  1. 1Prepare all ingredients: dice two big yellow onions (250g in total), sieve canned tomatoes (300g).
  2. 2In a pan, fry 900g of ground beef with 5g of olive oil for 4-5 minutes until browned. Season with salt, 20g of black pepper, and 4g of garlic powder.
  3. 3Add the 250g of chopped onions to the pan and cook for another 5-6 minutes until translucent. Then add the tomato sauce and mix. Cook for another minute.
  4. 4Check the seasoning and add more salt and pepper to taste.
  5. 5Add 4 laughing cow cheese wedges, stir until fully incorporated, then add 120g of shredded mozzarella.
  6. 6Transfer the meat mixture to a plate and chill for 20 minutes. This allows for easier handling and helps prevent soggy tortillas.
  7. 7Lay out the tortillas and aluminum foil. Spread 225g of meat mixture in the lower third of the tortilla, leaving space at the edges.
  8. 8Fold both sides of the tortilla inwards towards the center, then fold the bottom up and roll tightly. Wrap the burrito tightly in aluminum foil.
  9. 9Repeat steps for all 6 burritos. Freeze for up to 3 months.
  10. 10To defrost, microwave at 260 watts for 7-8 minutes, then at 620 watts for 3-4 minutes, or until hot.
