Apple Pie Donuts

- 1Peel and dice the apples.
- 2Combine apples, brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and water in a pan over heat and cook until soft.
- 3Combine yeast and remaining donut dough ingredients in a stand mixer and knead.
- 4Punch down the proofed dough.
- 5Divide the dough into portions.
- 6Shape the dough into balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 7Fry the dough balls in oil.
- 8Toss the fried donuts in sugar.
- 9Make a hole in the donut and pipe the apple filling inside.
