Apple Cider Cake
Directions
- 1Combine apple cider, brown sugar, and butter in a saucepan and cook until melted.
- 2In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and butter. Beat until crumbly.
- 3Add eggs, apple cider, milk, sour cream, and apple butter to the bowl, then mix.
- 4Pour batter into a baking pan and bake.
- 5Make caramel by combining brown sugar, butter, and apple cider.
- 6Once the cake is baked, poke holes in it and drizzle caramel over the top.
- 7Prepare the cream cheese frosting by combining cream cheese and powdered sugar.
- 8Frost the cake and swirl more caramel over the top.
