Directions

  1. 1Heat up some Jimmy Dean sausage.
  2. 2Combine 2 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and a spoon of salt.
  3. 3Add 4 tablespoons of butter to the dry ingredients and massage it into the flour.
  4. 4Add 1 cup of milk to the dough.
  5. 5If the dough is too sticky, add more flour until it's no longer sticky.
  6. 6Pat and roll the dough to create layers for flaky biscuits, aiming for about half an inch to three-quarters of an inch thick.
  7. 7Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  8. 8Take the cooked sausage out of the pan.
  9. 9Add 4 tablespoons of butter to the pan.
  10. 10Add flour to the melted butter in the pan.
  11. 11When the mixture starts to thicken, slowly add milk while stirring.
  12. 12Stop adding milk when the gravy reaches your desired thickness.
  13. 13Put the sausage back into the gravy and add salt and pepper to taste.
  14. 14Place the biscuits in the oven and bake for 10 minutes at 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  15. 15Scramble some eggs.
