Best Buffalo Wings

Directions

  1. 1Season chicken wings with salt, pepper, garlic, and cayenne.
  2. 2Preheat your smoker to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
  3. 3Smoke the wings for 2 hours until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  4. 4Remove the wings from the smoker once they have a beautiful outside color.
  5. 5Make the sauce with cayenne-based hot sauce and butter.
  6. 6Add some honey to the sauce (optional).
  7. 7Heat up frying oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  8. 8Fry the wings for 1 to 2 minutes.
  9. 9Toss the fried wings in the buffalo sauce.
  10. 10Add the wings back to the oil to cook one more time.
  11. 11Once they look nice and crispy, pull them off.
  12. 12Toss the wings in your sauce before plating.
  13. 13Serve the wings with blue cheese or ranch.
