Directions

Peel the potatoes.

Thinly slice the peeled potatoes.

Add the frying mix to a tray.

Add the water to the frying mix and mix.

Add the potato slices to the mixture and mix.

Line a loaf pan with baking paper and stack the potato slices into the pan.

Pour water into two containers.

Place the water-filled containers on top of the potatoes.

Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 60 minutes.

Remove from the oven and place a heavy object on top to flatten.

Refrigerate to cool.

Cut into desired sizes.

Fry the potato pieces in hot oil.

Remove from the oil and place on a wire rack.

Tips
Thinly slice the potatoes.
Frying mix, all-purpose flour, or wheat flour can be used.
Adjust the water to create a thin batter.
Sprinkle salt in between layers.
Place a dish or fill with water to keep the potatoes from floating to the top.
Place a heavy object on top when cooling to flatten the terrine.
