Reese’s Peanut Butter Hearts

Directions

  1. 1Mix peanut butter, maple syrup, melted 1/4 cup coconut oil, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth and combined.
  2. 2Add in coconut flour and salt, and mix.
  3. 3Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. 4Add to greased heart molds and freeze for 10-15 minutes.
  5. 5Melt chocolate and white chocolate in separate bowls with 1 tsp coconut oil for each.
  6. 6Using a fork, dip hearts in melted chocolate, tap off excess chocolate, and add to a lined baking sheet.
  7. 7Transfer to freezer to let chocolate harden.
  8. 8Drizzle extra melted chocolate on top if you'd like.
  9. 9Store in fridge or freezer in an airtight container.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup organic peanut butter
  • 0.33 cup coconut flour
  • 2 Tbsp coconut flour
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup
  • 0.25 cup melted refined coconut oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.5 cup chocolate chips of choice
  • 0.5 cup white chocolate chips of choice
  • 2 tsp refined coconut oil for melting chocolate

Tips

  • Store in fridge or freezer in an airtight container. The creator prefers to keep them stored in the freezer.
  • Substitute any nut or seed butter for peanut butter.
