Garlic Steak Fried Rice w Yum Yum Sauce

Directions

  1. 1Grease the Weber Slate griddle, fired up to medium-high heat, with bacon fat.
  2. 2Add vegetables to the griddle and cook through.
  3. 3Add 4 cups of day-old white rice to the griddle with the cooked vegetables.
  4. 4Cook a flat iron steak from K4 Gourmet Beef to your liking and let it rest on the side.
  5. 5Add ginger, garlic, and Bachan
  6. 6Sweet Pineapple Japanese BBQ sauce to the rice and vegetables, mixing well.
  7. 7Make a well in the center of the rice and add 6 eggs.
  8. 8Soft scramble the eggs, making sure not to overcook them, then mix with the rice and vegetables.
  9. 9Slice the rested steak into 1/2-inch thick slices, then dice into 1-inch cubes.
  10. 10Add the diced steak to the top of the fried rice and toss it all together.
  11. 11Plate up the garlic steak fried rice.
  12. 12Garnish with Yum Yum sauce and Bachan
  13. 13Roasted Garlic Japanese BBQ sauce.

  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper

Tips
