Pour dry navy beans into a large pot.

Add water to the pot with the beans and bring to a boil.

Dice two large onions.

Add the diced onions to a measuring cup.

Sauté the diced onions in a pot until translucent.

Lay out bacon strips on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Bake the bacon until crispy.

Dice the cooked bacon.

Add 12 cups of ketchup and 2 cups of water to a large pot.

Add 2 1/2 cups of brown sugar (Sucanat) to the pot.

Add 2/3 cup of molasses to the pot.

Add 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar to the pot.

Add 1/4 cup of Dijon mustard to the pot.

Add 1/4 cup of salt to the pot.

Add 1 1/2 tsp of allspice and 2 1/2 tsp of pepper to the pot.

Add the sautéed onions to the pot.

Stir the ingredients in the pot.

Add the cooked navy beans to the pot.

Stir the beans and sauce together.

Pour the baked beans into mason jars using a funnel.

Wipe the rim of the jar clean.

Place the lid on the mason jar.

Secure the band onto the mason jar.

Place the filled mason jars into an electric pressure canner.

Start the pressure canning process.

Remove the jars from the canner once processing is complete.

Let the jars cool and seal.
