Add two parts self-raising flour and one part cornflour to a bowl, then add water to make a batter.

Add velveted beef to the batter.

Take the beef and put it into cornstarch, mixing to ensure every piece is separated and doesn't stick together.

Make the sauce by combining tomato sauce (ketchup), a little Worcestershire sauce, water, sugar, vinegar, and a tiny bit of red powder.

Crank up the heat and fry the beef until it's crispy golden brown.

Add the vegetables to the wok, then remove them quickly.

Add the sauce to the wok and bring it to a boil.

Add potato/flour to thicken the sauce.

Add the crispy beef to the sauce.

Serve the dish.
