Heat sugar and water together in a pan.

Bring to a rolling boil and boil exactly 5 minutes on medium heat.

Remove from heat.

Let the syrup cool for 5–7 minutes.

Transfer the warm syrup to a blender.

Add milk powder to the blender.

Blend 30–45 seconds until completely smooth.

Pour into a container.

Refrigerate minimum 3–4 hours.
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1.5 cups full-fat milk powder
1 tiny pinch salt

Tips
Do not caramelize the sugar and water mixture.
The syrup should still be hot, not cold, when blending.
The mixture will look slightly thin while warm, which is normal.
Store refrigerated up to 1 week.
