Condensed Milk (Blender Method)

Directions

  1. 1Heat sugar and water together in a pan.
  2. 2Bring to a rolling boil and boil exactly 5 minutes on medium heat.
  3. 3Remove from heat.
  4. 4Let the syrup cool for 5–7 minutes.
  5. 5Transfer the warm syrup to a blender.
  6. 6Add milk powder to the blender.
  7. 7Blend 30–45 seconds until completely smooth.
  8. 8Pour into a container.
  9. 9Refrigerate minimum 3–4 hours.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1.5 cups full-fat milk powder
  • 1 tiny pinch salt

Tips

  • Do not caramelize the sugar and water mixture.
  • The syrup should still be hot, not cold, when blending.
  • The mixture will look slightly thin while warm, which is normal.
  • Store refrigerated up to 1 week.
