1To a bowl, add white rice, 3 to 4 cinnamon sticks, and 3 cups of warm water.
2Cover the bowl and refrigerate it overnight or for at least 6 hours.
3After it's done soaking, add everything to your blender.
4Add two more cups of water.
5Blend this for about two to three minutes until the rice is finely ground and the water looks milky.
6Strain the mixture using a regular strainer and then a cheesecloth strainer for a smoother consistency.
7Add the strained mixture back to the blender.
8Add one can of evaporated milk, one can of condensed milk, a tablespoon of vanilla extract, and one cup of whole milk.
9Blend it again.
10Pour the finished horchata over ice in a pitcher and serve.

Tips
Some people like their horchata very grainy. I personally like mine very smooth, so I'm running it through a cheesecloth strainer. If you don't have milk, you can also add water.
