In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper.

Take about half of that dry mix and separate it into another bowl.

Add 1 egg and 1/4 cup of water to the separated dry mix to make a thick wet batter.

Coat chicken tenderloins in the wet batter first.

Transfer the chicken tenderloins to the remaining dry mixture and toss until they are fully coated.

Fry the chicken in hot oil for 3 to 4 minutes until golden and crispy.

Drain the chicken.

Dunk the chicken in your favorite sauce or throw them into a wrap.
