Directions

  1. 1Thinly slice some chicken breast until each piece looks roughly like the one shown.
  2. 2Place the sliced chicken into a mixing bowl.
  3. 3Add garlic granules, MSG, cornflour, light soy sauce, and sesame oil to the chicken.
  4. 4Mix everything thoroughly until the chicken is fully coated.
  5. 5Transfer the coated chicken into a hot frying pan or wok.
  6. 6Spread the chicken out into an even layer to fry for a few minutes to get some color.
  7. 7In the meantime, add egg noodles into boiling water.
  8. 8Simmer the noodles for a few minutes before draining.
  9. 9Continue to stir-fry your chicken for a few more minutes until golden and cooked through.
  10. 10Set all the cooked chicken aside in a bowl for later.
  11. 11Place the pan back on the heat with a dash of oil.
  12. 12Add in sliced brown onion and bell pepper.
  13. 13Stir the vegetables around and fry for a few minutes to soften.
  14. 14Add in the drained noodles.
  15. 15Spread all the noodles out into a thin layer to char them in the pan.
  16. 16Add some salt and MSG to the noodles and vegetables.
  17. 17Add dark soy sauce.
  18. 18Stir all of that around in the pan and let it sit for 30 seconds.
  19. 19Add in all of the cooked chicken.
  20. 20Give everything a really good stir together.
  21. 21Serve into four equal portions.
