Directions

  1. 1Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a bowl.
  2. 2Whisk until combined.
  3. 3Crack an egg into a separate bowl.
  4. 4Add brown sugar to the egg.
  5. 5Beat the egg and sugar mixture with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  6. 6Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg and sugar mixture.
  7. 7Mix with an electric mixer until fully combined.
  8. 8Add flour to the chocolate mixture.
  9. 9Fold in the flour until just combined and a thick batter is formed.
  10. 10Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  11. 11Bake the cookies until they have a crackled top.
