Honey BBQ Tenders

Directions

  1. 1Hit your chicken tenders with a handful of flour and a tablespoon of seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper).
  2. 2Mix this all up and allow the tenders to dry out.
  3. 3To the flour add cornstarch, baking powder and the same seasoning as before.
  4. 4Transfer one third of that mixture into another bowl.
  5. 5Crack in some club soda.
  6. 6It should resemble a really thin pancake batter consistency.
  7. 7Dip the dry tender into the wet batter, then into the dry, one last time into the wet, and then finish into the dry.
  8. 8To make the honey barbecue, add ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, your favorite hot sauce, honey, and cold butter.
  9. 9Drop the tenders into oil set at 350°F.
  10. 10After five or six minutes allow them to rest, then back in for one minute to get nice and golden.
  11. 11Dip in ranch and enjoy!

  • 1 honey
  • 4 cubes butter
  • 1 ranch
