Holiday Ham and Cheese Breakfast Casserole

Directions

  1. 1Cube the leftover ham and throw it in a mixing bowl.
  2. 2Add one 20 oz package of refrigerated hash browns.
  3. 3Shred an 8 oz block of cheddar cheese and drop it in the bowl.
  4. 4Toss the ingredients to combine them.
  5. 5Drop the combined mixture into a greased 9x13 baking dish and spread it out evenly across the bottom.
  6. 6In the mixing bowl, add 12 whole eggs, 1 cup of whole milk, a little bit of salt and pepper, and any other seasonings.
  7. 7Whisk until everything is beautifully combined.
  8. 8Pour the egg mixture on top of everything in the baking dish.
  9. 9Use the back of a spoon to push things down and ensure they are properly submerged.
  10. 10Put the baking dish in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes.
  11. 11When it comes out, it should be crispy and golden brown on top.
  12. 12If you have parsley, sprinkle it on top to make it look fancy.
  13. 13Let it cool off for a little bit.
  14. 14Grab a spatula, cut out a piece, and put it on a plate.
  15. 15Add some salsa, sour cream, hot sauce, or whatever makes you happy.
  16. 16Grab a fork, scoop up a big bite, and enjoy.
