Directions

  1. 1Prep all vegetables by slicing onions, julienning carrots, slicing mushrooms, and cutting bell pepper into strips.
  2. 2Boil udon noodles for a couple of minutes until done, then rinse and drain under cold water.
  3. 3Drizzle sesame oil over the cooked noodles and mix to prevent sticking.
  4. 4Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté garlic until fragrant, add beef, and brown.
  5. 5Season beef with salt, black pepper, 2 tsp soy sauce, and 2 tsp dark soy sauce, mix, cook for 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  6. 6In the same pan, heat oil, add garlic and mushrooms, and cook for 1 minute.
  7. 7Add onions, carrots, and bell peppers to the pan and cook for 3-5 minutes.
  8. 8Add the cooked udon noodles and cooked beef back to the pan and mix.
  9. 9Pour in the sauce mixture and toss until well combined.
  10. 10Turn off heat and finish with chopped scallions.

  • 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 carrot, julienned
  • 8 oz mushroom, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 brick udon noodle
  • sesame oil (optional)
  • olive oil
  • minced garlic
  • salt (optional)
  • black pepper (optional)
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tsp dark soy sauce
  • 3 tsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 4 tsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • chopped scallion
