Cut the tofu block into a steak.

Dredge the tofu in a mixture of flour, cornflour, and salt.

Dip the floured tofu into water.

Dip the tofu again into the flour mixture to ensure a good coating.

Pan-fry the coated tofu until golden brown and crispy.

Remove the fried tofu from the pan.

Prepare the sticky glaze by adding gochujang, water, soy sauce, agave, and sesame seeds to the pan.

Stir the glaze ingredients together and bring to a simmer.

Coat the fried tofu in the sticky glaze.

Combine the remaining glaze with vegan mayo to create a sauce for the sandwich.

Toast the bread slices in the same pan with the glaze residue.

Spread the prepared sauce on one slice of toasted bread.

Add a layer of white cabbage slaw on top of the sauce.

Place the glazed fried tofu on top of the slaw.

1 cup Shredded cabbage
1 tbsp Lime juice
0.5 tbsp Vegan mayo
0.5 tbsp Sticky glaze (for sauce)
2 tbsp Vegan mayo (for sauce)
2 slices Toasted sourdough bread
