Homemade Ice Cream

Directions

  1. 1Add 3 and 1/3 cups of well-chilled heavy whipping cream to a bowl.
  2. 2Beat the cream very well with a mixer until it stiffens and becomes creamy whipped cream.
  3. 3Add 1 and 1/4 cups of cocoa powder (50% cocoa) to the whipped cream.
  4. 4Mix these ingredients well with a spatula to fold in the chocolate first, avoiding splatters.
  5. 5Remove excess from the spatula and beat well with the mixer to fully incorporate the cocoa powder.
  6. 6Add 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk to the bowl.
  7. 7Repeat the mixing process to fully incorporate the condensed milk, making the cream smoother and shinier.
  8. 8Transfer the mixture to a larger bowl or pan.
  9. 9Spread the ice cream mixture well in the pan.
  10. 10Freeze for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  11. 11Serve a generous portion.
  12. 12Optionally, add strawberry syrup on top or enjoy as is.
