Creamy Cajun Steak Bites & Parmesan Potatoes

Directions

  1. 1Slice your steaks into cubes.
  2. 2Season the steak cubes with salt, Italian herbs, chili flakes, garlic and onion powder, parsley, paprika, and olive oil.
  3. 3Mix the seasoned steak until the color changes.
  4. 4Slice your potatoes into small cubes.
  5. 5Add the mixed veggies (broccoli florets, red onion, red bell pepper) to the potatoes.
  6. 6Add the seasoning mix (garlic powder, paprika, Italian herbs, parsley, olive oil) and lots of parmesan to the potatoes and vegetables.
  7. 7Mix the potatoes and vegetables well.
  8. 8Oven bake or air fry the potatoes for 20-24 minutes at 160C/360F until beautifully golden and roasted.
  9. 9Cook your steak bites in light butter for 3 to 4 minutes each side until golden and seared.
  10. 10Lower the heat, add minced garlic and fresh parsley to the steak bites.
  11. 11Mix the steak until juicy and delicious.
  12. 12Set the beef aside.
  13. 13In the same pan, add the extra seasoning (salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian herbs, parsley).
  14. 14Let the seasoning toast for two minutes until fragrant.
  15. 15Add low-fat milk, light cream cheese, and grated parmesan to the pan.
  16. 16Stir until it melts.
  17. 17Let the sauce thicken until rich and creamy.
  18. 18Serve the roasted potatoes with the juicy steak bites and the creamy sauce.

  • 50 g Parmesan, grated

  • 10 g Reduced Fat Butter

Tips

  • Make sure the broccoli doesn’t overcook and burn when oven baking or air frying the potatoes.
