Easy Homemade Chicken Nuggets

Directions

  1. 1In a bowl, combine the double-ground chicken breast with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and white sugar.
  2. 2Add melted unsalted butter, 1/4 cup cornstarch, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp ground white pepper.
  3. 3Add a splash of evaporated milk and mix well.
  4. 4Scoop out 1 tbsp of the mixture and shape it into your preferred form.
  5. 5Pound or blend panko breadcrumbs to achieve a finer texture.
  6. 6In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  7. 7Dredge the chicken nuggets in the egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  8. 8Let rest or refrigerate for at least an hour.
  9. 9Cook the sauce by combining banana ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar (or honey), and ground pepper in a frying pan. Cook until thickened.
  10. 10Deep fry the chicken nuggets until golden brown and crispy.
  11. 11Plate up along with the barbecue sauce.

  • 0.5 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1.5 tsp Onion Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp Brown Sugar (or 1/4 Cup Honey)
  • 1 pinch Ground Pepper
