Directions
1
Set your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2
Peel five Granny Smith apples.
3
Core the apples.
4
Cut the apples into thin slices.
5
Put the apple slices in a big bowl.
6
Sprinkle one tablespoon of flour over the apple slices.
7
Toss the apple slices to coat them evenly with flour.
8
Add another tablespoon of flour and toss again.
9
Get a skillet and place a stick of butter in it.
10
Put the skillet in the oven until the butter melts.
11
Once the butter is melted, sprinkle one cup of brown sugar over the melted butter in the skillet.
12
Stick the skillet back in the oven for about 5 minutes until the brown sugar melts down.
13
Take one premade pie crust directly out of the fridge and gently place it on top of the brown sugar and butter in the skillet.
14
Take half of your apples and spread them out evenly on the crust.
15
Sprinkle the apples with about a fourth of a cup of sugar.
16
Add a teaspoon of cinnamon.
17
Cover with your second pie crust and gently press the edges into the pan.
18
Sprinkle the rest of the apples on top of the second crust.
19
Sprinkle a fourth of a cup of sugar on top.
20
Add another teaspoon of cinnamon.
21
Add your final pie crust and gently press the edges into the pan.
22
Sprinkle a fourth of a cup more sugar on top.
23
Break up a tablespoon of butter and put little pieces all over the top of the pie.
24
Take a sharp knife and cut four slits into your pie crust.
25
Stick the pie in the oven on the middle rack and allow it to bake for about 40 to 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
26
Once cooked, take the pie out of the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
