Stick of Butter One Pot Tortellini

Directions

  1. 1Cut the casings off the Italian sausage.
  2. 2Chop the Italian sausage into pieces.
  3. 3Brown the Italian sausage in a pan until it has some color.
  4. 4Set the cooked sausage aside.
  5. 5Turn the temperature down to medium-low.
  6. 6Add one stick of garlic and herb butter to the pan.
  7. 7Add as much minced garlic as your heart desires.
  8. 8Add Italian seasoning, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and onion powder to the pan.
  9. 9Stir the seasonings into the melted butter and garlic.
  10. 10Pour in 1.5 cups of beef broth.
  11. 11Add 1 cup of heavy cream.
  12. 12Stir the liquid ingredients together.
  13. 13Add 24 ounces of fresh tortellini to the pan.
  14. 14Add 4 ounces of garlic and herb whipped cream cheese to the pan.
  15. 15Cover the pan and cook until the tortellini is done and the sauce has thickened.
  16. 16Stir the tortellini and sauce.
  17. 17Add about a cup of freshly grated parmesan.
  18. 18Stir the parmesan into the tortellini.
  19. 19Add the cooked Italian sausage back into the pan.
  20. 20Add some fresh basil.
  21. 21Stir everything together.
  22. 22Serve and enjoy.
