Directions

  1. 1Wash 1 cup of rice for 4 people.
  2. 2Heat up a good amount of olive oil or vegan butter in a pot.
  3. 3Toast a few tablespoons of orzo until nicely browned.
  4. 4Add the washed rice to the pot and toast for a few more minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. 5Add 1 1/2 cups of water.
  6. 6Add some salt to taste.
  7. 7Bring to a boil with the lid on.
  8. 8Reduce the heat to low and steam for 15-20 minutes.
  9. 9Fluff up the rice with a fork and enjoy.

  • 1.5 cups water
  • to taste salt
