  1. 1Hit chicken tenders with a handful of flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.

  4. 4Transfer one-third of the dry mixture into another bowl.
  5. 5Crack in club soda and mix to the consistency of thin pancake batter.
  6. 6Dip tenders into the wet batter, then into the dry mixture, wet again, and finish with the dry mixture.
  7. 7Make the honey barbecue sauce by combining ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and honey.
  8. 8Add small butter cubes to make the sauce smooth.
  9. 9Deep fry tenders at 350 for 5-6 minutes, let them rest, then fry for another minute to get them golden.
