Directions
- 1Peel and thinly slice the onions.
- 2Add butter and olive oil to a pan and heat.
- 3Add the sliced onions to the pan.
- 4Sauté the onions until caramelized.
- 5Poke holes in the Italian sausage links.
- 6Remove the casings from the Italian sausage links and break them into smaller pieces.
- 7Add the Italian sausage pieces to a pan and brown them.
- 8Add salt to a pot of boiling water.
- 9Add pasta to the boiling water.
- 10Mince the garlic cloves.
- 11Add minced garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and Calabrian chili to the sausage in the pan.
- 12Mix the ingredients in the pan.
- 13Add butter to the pan.
- 14Add the caramelized onions to the pan with the sausage mixture.
- 15Pour heavy cream into the pan.
- 16Add cooked pasta to the pan.
- 17Sprinkle chopped parsley over the pasta.
- 18Mix all ingredients together in the pan.
- 19Serve the pasta in a bowl.

- 2 tsp Calabrian chili

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 0.25 cup fresh grated parmesan
- Salt
- black pepper
- 0.25 cup chopped parsley
