Ingredients: 1 cone piloncillo; cinnamon stick; cloves; water; 1 disc Mexican chocolate disc; cup masa harina; chocolate syrup; milk

Directions

1Place the piloncillo cone, cinnamon stick, and cloves into a pot.
2Add water to the pot and bring to a boil.
3Strain the liquid into a blender.
4Add the Mexican chocolate disc to the blender.
5Toast masa harina in a pan until lightly browned.
6Add the toasted masa harina to the blender.
7Add chocolate syrup to the blender.
8Pour milk into the blender.
9Blend all ingredients until smooth.
10Pour the blended mixture back into a pot and heat it while stirring with a molinillo until it thickens and becomes frothy.
11Serve the champurrado in a cup.
