Twice Baked Potato Casserole

Directions

  1. 1Dice the bacon and cook it.
  2. 2Dice the potatoes and boil them with their skins on.
  3. 3Grate cheese.
  4. 4Remove about 3/4 cup of the mostly cooled potatoes and slice them into smaller pieces.
  5. 5Add one pack of Boursin garlic and fine herbs and 250g of cream cheese to the main bowl of potatoes.
  6. 6Add 1/4 cup of butter to the potatoes.
  7. 7Add 1/2 cup of sour cream to the potatoes.
  8. 8Add 1/4 cup of heavy cream to the potatoes.
  9. 9Mix the potatoes with all the added ingredients until sinfully smooth.
  10. 10Add another 1/4 cup of heavy cream to the potatoes.
  11. 11Add the previously sliced potato pieces to the bowl.
  12. 12Add about two cups of cheese to the bowl.
  13. 13Add about half of the cooked bacon to the bowl.
  14. 14Mix all the ingredients well.
  15. 15Transfer the mixture into a 9x13 baking dish.
  16. 16Bake the casserole in the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit, uncovered, for 45 minutes.
  17. 17Sprinkle a little more cheese on top.
  18. 18Bake in the oven for another 15 minutes.
  19. 19Add green onions on top.

  • 1 handful green onions
