Directions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. 2Cut off both ends of the onions.
  3. 3Peel the onions.
  4. 4Hollow out the core of the onions.
  5. 5Fill the hollowed-out center of each onion with butter.
  6. 6Melt butter in a bowl in the microwave for the sauce.
  7. 7Season the melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, lemon pepper, oregano leaves, Old Bay seasoning, minced garlic, and black pepper.
  8. 8Stir the sauce well.
  9. 9Place each onion on a small sheet of tin foil on a baking sheet.
  10. 10Pour the prepared sauce over each onion.
  11. 11Sprinkle additional seasonings (garlic powder, black pepper) on top of the onions.
  12. 12Carefully fold the tin foil around each onion, making sure to seal it completely without puncturing the foil.
  13. 13Place the foil-wrapped onions into the preheated oven.
  14. 14Cook for 90 minutes.
  15. 15Once cooked, open the foil and finish with extra sauce.
