Tips

  • It's so easy to hide tons of veggies in this recipe.
  • You can change up the meat to whatever you like.
  • It's good leftover and can even be eaten cold.
  • Suggested amounts are provided as an example, but you can modify them to your preference and needs.
  • Optionally, add sesame seeds for extra volume and flavor.
  • Optional veggies are to sauté some of the coleslaw mix.
  • You can adjust the quantity of yum yum sauce to your liking, as it is just a light drizzle.
  • You can add as many veggies as you'd like.
  • Season the lean beef with any Asian seasonings you desire before adding it to the bowl.
  • You can also season the noodles with salt, garlic, and ginger if you want.
  • Brown the ground meat until done, add the veggies of choice and continue to sauté until tender but not mushy.
  • Combine the two in a bowl, set aside.
  • For the sauce, combine soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, salt, garlic, and ginger.
  • Assemble your bowls by adding the rice or cauliflower rice, then the browned ground meat and veggie mixture, and finally the sauce.
  • Drizzle with yum yum sauce and add optional sesame seeds
