Directions

  1. 1In a pan set to low-medium heat, add one cup of extra virgin olive oil.
  2. 2Fry six garlic cloves until golden.
  3. 3Fry a tortilla until crispy and golden.
  4. 4Turn off the heat.
  5. 5Fry one chile ancho and about sixty chiles de árbol for 10-15 seconds. Do not burn them.
  6. 6Take everything out of the pan.
  7. 7Once the oil has cooled off, add everything into the blender.
  8. 8Add salt to taste.
  9. 9Blend everything.

  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1 corn tortilla
  • 1 chile ancho
  • 60 chiles de arbol
  • 1 to taste salt
