Directions
1
Mix the marinade ingredients in a large container with a lid. Set aside and trim any silver skin or excess fat from the flank steak.
2
Place the flank steak in the marinade, ensuring it's completely covered. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours, but overnight is best.
3
Preheat the smoker to 225°F. While it heats up, remove the flank steak from the marinade and wipe it off.
4
Place the flank steak on the smoker for 40-60 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 115-120°F.
5
Let the flank steak rest after removing from the smoker.
6
Turn up the grill and sear the flank steak for 1 minute per side.
7
Remove to rest for 2-3 more minutes.
8
Slice the flank steak against the grain.
Ingredients
1.5 tbsp avocado oil
3 tbsp red wine vinegar
2 tbsp Worcestershire
3 tbsp pickled jalapeno brine
2 juice from limes
2 chipotle in adodo pepper, chopped
0.5 tbsp garlic powder

Tips
Marinate for at least an hour, but the longer, the better.
