Directions

  1. 1Lay your salmon on a plate and dab the pieces with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.
  2. 2Add about half a tablespoon of Dijon mustard to the top of each salmon piece and spread it across the top using a brush, the back of a spoon, or your finger.
  3. 3Season the salmon with kosher salt or sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  4. 4Add a generous sprinkle of garlic powder and paprika.
  5. 5Spray the top with a little bit of olive oil or avocado oil spray.
  6. 6If using a basket-style air fryer, lay two salmon pieces in the basket and don't overcrowd it.
  7. 7Set your air fryer to a temperature of 400 degrees Fahrenheit and the timer for 8 to 10 minutes.
  8. 8It's always best to slightly undercook your salmon and add more time if needed.
  9. 9If you're cooking more than two pieces of salmon, repeat the process again.
  10. 10Cook them for another 8 to 10 minutes.
