Shrimp Rice Paper Dumplings

Directions

  1. 1Finely chop the Asian chives and set aside.
  2. 2Mince the fresh ginger and garlic.
  3. 3Devein and chop the shrimp.
  4. 4Add the chopped shrimp, chives, ginger, and garlic into a bowl.
  5. 5Add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil to the bowl and mix well.
  6. 6Dip each rice paper round in water for about 30 seconds.
  7. 7Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each dampened rice paper round.
  8. 8Fold the rice paper to create a small square package and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. 9Brush the top of each dumpling with a little neutral oil, flip, and brush the other side.
  10. 10Bake at 400°F for 7 minutes on one side, flip, and bake for another 7 minutes.
