Directions

  1. 1Brown the ground beef in a large pot.
  2. 2Once the ground beef is almost cooked through, add diced onion, diced bell pepper, and a big spoonful of minced garlic.
  3. 3Cook the mixture for a few minutes until the vegetables start to soften.
  4. 4Pour in a jar of Prego Italian Sausage & Garlic pasta sauce.
  5. 5Fill the empty pasta sauce jar about two-thirds of the way with chicken broth and pour it into the pot to get every last drop of sauce.
  6. 6Season the mixture well with Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. 7Once the mixture comes to a boil, stir in 8 ounces of uncooked spaghetti that have been broken in half.
  8. 8Make sure the noodles are well coated in the sauce to prevent clumps.
  9. 9Cover the pot and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, stopping and stirring really well every 5 minutes.
  10. 10Once the pasta is tender, stir in half a block of cream cheese until it melts into the sauce.
  11. 11Let it sit uncovered for 3 to 5 minutes so it thickens up.
  12. 12Serve the spaghetti with cheesy bread.
