Tips

  • To get accurate serving sizes, weigh your empty slow cooker before starting. Once done, weigh it again, subtract the initial weight to get the total recipe weight, and divide by 11 for the exact serving size.
  • Store servings frozen and reheat in the microwave with 2-3 tablespoons of milk or water, covered with a paper towel, for 3-5 minutes.
  • Blend the cheese sauce for 2-3 minutes until completely smooth; slightly heating it in the microwave can assist.
  • Centercut bacon is lower in calories/fat than regular bacon; look for a brand with 2 fried slices at around 50-60 calories (this accounts for drained/discarded grease).
