Add all the jalapeños (stems removed), half an onion, and a handful of garlic to a big pan.

Drizzle a lot of oil over the ingredients in the pan.

Let the jalapeños, garlic, and onions caramelize on low heat for about 10 to 15 minutes, until the jalapeños become a little darker and blistered.

Turn off the heat and let everything cool off for about 15 minutes.

Add all the cooled ingredients, including the oil, to a blender.

Add one tablespoon of "this stuff" (unspecified ingredient) to the blender.

Blend the mixture until smooth.

Pour the salsa into a bowl and serve.

Tips
