Get a llanera and add sugar.

Melt the sugar over low heat until it becomes amber in color.

Let this cool down and harden.

Gather 10 egg yolks, or 12 if your eggs are small.

Don't over stir the egg yolks, use a very light hand to break the egg yolks.

Add Jolly Cow condensed milk and stir painstainkingly until it's one with the yolk.

Add evaporated milk and whisk slowly.

Add a pinch of salt, and a squeeze of lemon juice, then mix in a splash of vanilla extract.

Strain the mixture 2 to 3 times with a fine sieve to eliminate air bubbles.

Pass the mixture to llaneras.

Tap the llaneras on the counter, and cover them with foil.

Steam the llaneras in low heat for 60 minutes.

Confirm if it's cooked by inserting a toothpick, and it comes out clean, you're good to go.

Let them cool down to room temp before putting them in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

Remove the foil and invert on to a plate to serve.
