Jeera Aloo and Aloo Shimla Mirch सूखे आलू की 2 सब्जी

Directions

  1. 1For Aloo Shimla Mirch: Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan, add cumin seeds let it crackle. Add chopped ginger, garlic and onions mix well.
  2. 2Add bell pepper, sugar and ghee. Saute for a few minutes until tender and begin to start changing color.
  3. 3Stir in the boiled potatoes, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala powder, coriander powder, salt to taste and tomatoes.
  4. 4Stir the vegetables along with the spices until well coated with the spices.
  5. 5Cover the pan; turn the heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. 6Once done, turn off the heat, stir with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  7. 7Serve aloo simla mirch ki sabzi recipe along with phulkas.
  8. 8For Jeera Aloo: In a pan, heat oil on medium flame and mustard oil let the oil become hot.
  9. 9Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
  10. 10Now, add asafoetida, green chillies and mix very well.
  11. 11Add the potato cubes. Toss them well with the cumin seeds and green chilies.
  12. 12Sprinkle turmeric powder, red chili powder, sugar and salt to taste as required.
  13. 13Saute the potatoes for 2 to 3 minutes on low to medium flame till they are crisp stirring often.
  14. 14Next add coriander leaves and lemon juice.
  15. 15Mix the whole mixture well.
  16. 16Serve jeera aloo hot with phulkas or pooris
